What are the application requirements for the fiancee visa to the US?
I am a filipina, my fiance is a U.S. Navy and being deployed, he is hiring a lawyer to process my VISA application, may I know what are the requirements? Because the lawyer is kind of slow. He is not answering my inquiries. He asked for my passport, is it needed when submitting the application?

- Your husband did not need a lawyer for such a simple process. You need a K1 visa and will need to be able to prove that you have dated your fiance for at least 2 years.
