Can my elderly parents bring along a helper when they visit UK? What are visa requirements for the helper?

My parents shall be visitng us in UK. They would like the maid (18 years old) to accompany them on their visit. Can they bring her along and what are the visa requirements for the maid?

A Visa will be required for the Maid in the usual way.But she may not work while she is in the Uk.it will be said and quite rightly so that the girl will be working.Your parents could employ someone else while they are visiting.I would suppose that the girl will marry if she arrives here,and she will wish to stay forever.Its a great idea but the Embassy have heard it all before.
4. hi Of course they can bring with them the helper, as long as she has her own entry visa - providing she is not EU national, of course. And yes, she can work as a maid, for the duration of her stay. She may not however, get employment here, or claim any benefits. So yes, she needs entry clearance.
