Visa requirements for Australians to enter Mexico?
I'm an Aussie who has been traveling around both Canada and America for the past 5months, with a 12 month working visa to Canada & a 12month visitors visa for America, so I don't have that 3month visa waiver which allows multiple entries into Canada, USA & Mexico for 90 days. I was wondering if there were any visa requirements to travel to Mexico and I'm looking at taking a day trip to Tijuana while in the Southern California area.

Visa not required for a touristic stay of max. 180 days, provided holding Tourist Card/form FMT issued by airlines (free of charge). Immigration officers will decide on max. period of stay. Minors under 14 years of age, travelling alone, should be met by an adult. Visitor must hold: - ticket and documents required for onward/return journey and - sufficient funds. Non-compliance with entry regulations will result in fines for carrier vaying from USD 850.- to a maximum of USD 1800.-, and deportation of passenger to country of origin at carrier's expense.

- I've just visited the official mexican goverment web site: http://www.inm.gob.mx/ According to the national inmigration institute you do not need a visa, if you are traveling as a turist. It is funny, but it starts only in spanish and when you get into the visa info you get this info also in english, how english native speakers should get there is unknown lol .
